The elderly driver of a car that crashed into a tree on the A21 was knocked out by the incident yesterday (Monday, November 30).

The car flipped and crashed at around 12.30pm at Ebden Hill outside of Hastings.

The driver and his elderly female passenger, who suffered neck pain, were taken to the Conquest Hospital for further treatment by South East Coast Ambulance Service.

Two ambulances and single responder cars were sent to the incident as were East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.
