St Augustine’s Chapel at St Michael’s Hospice was filled with the sweets sounds of the prize-winning ladies Cantabile Choir recently.
Cantabile, led by Molly Townson with Emma Stace Darling, soprano and Richard Eldridge on piano, performed their Let’s Celebrate Christmas concert with words and music of five centuries telling the story of Christmas.
Amanda Hildreth, hospice community fundraiser, said: “Cantabile has been performing its wonderful Christmas concert at St Michael’s Hospice every Christmas for the last 12 years. And this year was no exception. It was a lovely festive evening and a huge was £226.50 raised. We would like to thank Cantabile for its support over the years and wish the choir a very Happy New Year.”
