Can you help loveable pair stay together?

A SPECIAL pair of dogs at The Blue Cross in Northiam are appealing for an owner who will help them stay together for Valentines Day.

Jack Russell terriers Mork and Mindy were both found roaming the streets as strays and found themselves at the dog pound. However, things started looking up for the cheeky pair as they hit it off immediately - it was love at first sight!

They quickly became such good friends that when they were transferred to Northiam’s Blue Cross animal centre staff were reluctant to separate them.

Donna Stradwick, deputy manager for The Blue Cross in Northiam, said: “Mork and Mindy are perfect names for these two, as they certainly seem to be made for each other. They get on so well and really enjoy each other’s company – finding a home for them together would be a perfect Valentine’s happy ending.

“The pair are both around five years old. Mork loves playing with toys and they could be used by his new owners to help continue with his training.

“Mindy loves company and cuddles. They would like to be the only pets in the household but would love to meet children at the centre to see if they get on. Mork and Mindy would also be happy to live in a flat, as long as their new owners had time to take them out for all the exercise they need.”

If you think you could offer Mork and Mindy a loving new home this Valentine’s Day, please contact The Blue Cross in Northiam on 0300 777 1510 or drop into the centre at St Francis Fields in Northiam.
