One of the county’s leading print and design specialists is once again running its ‘Love Sussex’ calendar photography competition following the success of last year.
Evonprint is encouraging budding photographers to submit their entries with the theme of ‘having fun in Sussex’.
This could be kite flying on the South Downs or a picnic on the beach, for example.
The only stipulation is that the photograph must be taken somewhere within the county of Sussex and depict the theme of ‘fun’.
Managing director Steve Rowland said: “This year marks our 30th anniversary of being in business and what better way to celebrate than running a competition to capture yet more photography of the glorious county in which we live and work.”
Twelve winners will be chosen for inclusion in the calendar and will each win a hamper of goodies worth £100.
The calendar will be sold to the public with all proceeds going to charity. This year’s chosen charity is You Raise Me Up which was voted for by the people of Sussex through Evonprint’s Facebook page.
The 2016 calendar featured a selection of the county’s top beauty spots captured by local photography enthusiasts and voted for by the Sussex community.
Photographic entries must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Include a full name, email and telephone number, as well as the location of the photo.
The deadline for entries is Wednesday, August 31.
Winners will be chosen by a panel at Evonprint and notified within two weeks of the closing date.
Photos must be at least 1MB in size.
Winners will be expected to take part in photo calls for media purposes and collect the prize from Billingshurst.
