St Michael’s Hospice is looking for keen cake bakers to support this year’s Fabulously Vintage Fair which takes place on Saturday September 19, 10-4pm.
The Fabulously Vintage Fair is a wonderful vintage day out for all the family, with a vast selection of vintage vehicles, stalls, entertainment and children’s games, as well as a variety of food, including their popular Vintage Tea Room.
Sally Beresford, Community Fundraiser says she really enjoys running the tea room at the Vintage Fair. “I am always amazed how many people put their baking skills into action and prepare a delicious assortment of cakes for our tearoom,” she said.
“The tea and cakes are always very popular and we would be extremely grateful to anyone who would like to do some baking to support the Hospice.
“We’re looking for a variety of cakes and biscuits to suit everyone’s tastes and dietary requirements.
“All cakes can be delivered to the Arthur Easton Centre in the Hospice grounds on Friday September 18, ready to be delivered to the event in Bodiam.”
Due to the recent fire at the Hospice, the Fabulously Vintage Fair will be held at Bodiam at the Mad Hatters Fancy Dress, a magical venue that is full of character. Entry is £1 for adults, there’s no charge for children.
There are a few stalls still available at the Fabulously Vintage Fair. Anyone who may be interested is asked to contact the Hospice’s Marketing team on 07827 912621 or email email@example.com
