Burwash

Thank you to everyone who took the opportunity to visit the beautiful Garden at Elphick’s last weekend. It was so nice to meet so many friends. Thankfully after the awful storms of Friday evening the weather stayed mainly dry with a few spots of rain and a rumble of thunder on Sunday which didn’t deter the visitors, who after an amble round the grounds enjoyed a chat over tea and home made cakes. Thank you to Lorna & Yuti for the hard work you put in to preparing the garden, we all had a wonderful time. We raised £463 which will be given to the Burwash Village hall, with grateful thanks to all the committee who gave their time to bake cakes and help
