A BURGLARY was avoided after the house alarm was activated.
An attempt was made to enter a house in Bulverhythe Road, St Leonards, by breaking a kitchen window at the back of the property, between 10.30am and 5pm last Friday (August 10).
The would-be burglar left the property when the alarm was activated and nothing was stolen.
Detective constable Hollie Freeman said: “Were you in the area during these times, do you remember seeing anyone behaving out of the ordinary?
“Do remember to secure your home, close the windows and lock the doors. If you are lucky enough to have an alarm, do use it.”
