BREAKING NEWS: Unexploded bomb found in Arundel

EXPLOSIVES experts have discovered a unexploded mortar bomb from the Second World War in the River Arun today, (Wednesday, November 30).

The bomb was found just before midday by the Sussex Police Specialist Search Unit during a routine training exercise, near the A27 bridge, over the river.

Military explosive ordnance specialists have been asked to attend and assess the device, a police spokeswoman has said. No road closures have ben enforced at this time.
