BREAKING NEWS: Disruption to rail services due to fire at Charing Cross

Train services in and out of Charing Cross station are being disrupted following reports of a fire this lunchtime (Thursday, May 19).

Passengers travelling on Southeastern services from Hastings, West St Leonards, St Leonards Warrior Square, Crowhurst, Battle, Robertsbridge and Etchingham stations are being warned their trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised.

The train operator says fire alarms are sounding at the London station and there are reports of a fire underneath an arch below the station itself.

No services are currently running in or out of Charing Cross.

London Underground is accepting Southeastern tickets between London termini.
