Body On Railway

BRITISH Transport Police are investigating the death of a Worthing teenager, whose body was found on railway tracks near Angmering.

The body of 16-year-old Patrick Cummins was found early on Sunday morning between Baird's foot crossing and Ferring Road crossing.

Det Insp Alan Jenkinson, leading the enquiry, said he was concerned about the circumstances surrounding Patrick's death.

Patrick was last seen the previous night at 11pm at a party in East Preston, wearing a blue Nike fleece, a blue Ben Sherman polo shirt, blue Levi 501 jeans and black Kicker shoes.

"I am anxious to talk to people who saw Patrick at the party and know anything about how he came to be on the railway."
