TALK: Tales From The Riverbank, an evening talk by Ian Everest and Philip Pople tomorrow, Saturday, in Bishopstone Parish Hall in aid of the Willett Trust. The first part looks at life in the Ouse Valley and the second features a young woman, a miller and Eadric House. Tickets cost £8, which includes refreshments, and they are available from Angie's Newsagents, Claremont Road.

CONCERT: The Enchanted Violin, two performances will take place in St Andrew’s Church on Sunday, at 3pm and 7pm. This magical story will be performed by Sebastian and Kate Comberti. Tickets cost £5 per adult or £12 for a family of four. Tickets are available from the churchwardens or Newberry Tully Estate Agents.
