Bid to build 65 homes near school

Asprey Homes Ltd wants the development at the old fairground and nearby land at Crowborough Hill.

The houses would be a mix of two and three-storey buildings.

A previous application was withdrawn last year due to highways issues.

If the application is successful, the development would be situated opposite Sir Henry Fermor School.

It would be built on 1.54 hectares and new roads provided.

Wealden District Council will make a decision on the application by May 12.
