Bexhill man accused of stealing football shirts

A 47-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court accused of stealing three football shirts from a store at the Crumbles.

Martin Frederick Leonard, of Magdalen Road, Bexhill, pleaded not guilty to taking the shirts, worth 15, from Sportsworld.

He chose to stand trial at the crown court and will appear again at Eastbourne's magistrates court for a committal hearing on December 23.

He was released on unconditional bail.
