Beckley burglaries '˜are linked'

Police are appealing for witnesses to two burglaries which took place in Beckley over the Easter weekend.

The first happened at a property in Peasmarsh Road between 8.45am and 9pm on Saturday (March 26).

Personal items of jewellery were stolen in the road.

The second burglary happened between 6.15pm and 9pm on Easter Sunday (March 27) at a house in Clayhill, Beckley.

The intruder stole various items of jewellery and a silver and black iPod.

Sussex Police believe both the burglaries are linked.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact police by emailing [email protected] or call 101 quoting serial 1157 of 27/03.
