Bag-athon is extended

Covers timber and builders’ merchants will continue its Great British Bag-athon in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

The appeal collects bag of unwanted items to be sold in the charity’s shops in the area to help raise vital funds.

Covers’ branch manager Sean Clarke said: “The amount of bags we have received so far has been very encouraging. But I know the generous people of Bognor can give more. It’s the perfect chance to give us unwanted Christmas presents without feeling guilty.”

Covers, of Station Yard, launched the appeal on November 12.
