Arun staff's 'something funny' boosts coffers

Staff working in Arun District Council's revenues and benefits department did something funny for money and raised more than £200 for Comic Relief.

The team, based at Arun's Civic Centre in Littlehampton, put on fancy dress and baked cakes, which they gave away in return for a donation. They managed to raise a total of 237.29.

Amy Griffiths, from the revenues and benefits team, said: "In honour of this year's theme 'do something funny for money', we decided to dress up in fancy dress costumes to do our bit."
