The family business will be transferred to Kings Stationers located in Alexandra Parade, Park Avenue in mid-March.

Roger and Debbie purchased Kings Stationers from Grahame King at the end of 2014, and are delighted to be now purchasing the artist supplies business as well.

The retail stationery shop in Park Avenue is being re-fitted in order to accommodate the additional stocks being transferred from Kings Road.

“Many customers comment on the fact that the two businesses are located in separate locations” says Roger. “This way, both the artist supplies and stationery products will be available under the one roof”.

Kings stationers were in the news last year when Roger Cuthbert unearthed many old documents and photographs relating to the history of the business and the Hastings Observer, after taking over Kings Stationers, which used to be called Kings Bros & Potts.

Pictured are Roger and Debbie with Grahame and Veronica, the Cuthbert family and Roger with the earlier discovery, as well as images that show the business in times gone by.
