Another accident on dangerous Queensway road...
HASTINGS' fastest road was the site of another accident on Thursday, amidst calls for safety measures from neighbouring residents.
One person was taken to hospital as a precaution with slight injuries after a collision involving two vehicles on the Queensway. A rapid response car and two ambulances attended the crash, which occurred at 4.07pm near the Crowhurst Road junction. No one was seriously injured in the incident.
The accident comes just over a week after a tragic collision at the same site claimed the lives of three people and left four more hospitalised.
A petition from nearby Catsfield Close residents calling for speed limits and cameras at the site has already attracted over 200 signatures from homeowners in the area.
