FAMILIES are invited to enjoy an afternoon of food, music, and fun activities in St Leonards Gardens.
The Garden Full of Family Delights event, which will take place on Saturday (July 30), 2.30pm to 5.30pm, is organised by Hastings and District Interfaith Forum in conjunction with Hastings Intercultural Organisation and the Friends of St Leonards Gardens. Afternoon teas of different national flavours including British, Indian and Armenian, are available for £1 per serving, with refreshments costing 50p.
Janet Derwent, from the Hastings and District Interfaith Forum, said: “It promises to be a great afternoon. A family of two adults and two children will be able to enjoy afternoon tea for as little as £6, which is an excellent reason to come down.”
Aside from food and drink there is live music from well-known local musicians including Ian Edwards and Hayley-J and Sylvana. For children, an art competition and talent contest will provide entertainment. The deadline for entries to the talent contest is Monday. Email Tim Miller for a registration form at email@example.com.
