Acclaimed organist from Lincoln Cathedral

Now in its 25th year, the Organ Concert Series continues on Monday, July 15, at All Saints Church, All Saints Street, Hastings.

Colin Walsh from Lincoln Cathedral will be visiting the Old Town church to play the Father Willis organ.

He is at the forefront of his generation of organists in England, where his work has always been connected with long established choral foundations; Windsor; Christ Church Cathedral; Oxford; Salisbury; and St. Albans.

He has played in most European countries, also Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA.

He has made many recordings for the Priory label, and he specialises in French symphonic and modern music.

On Monday he will play music by Stanford, Whitlock, J.S Bach, Franck and Durufle.

The concert begins at 7.30pm, and tickets at £8 are available at the door.

Refreshments, tea, coffee and wine are available for a donation. For further information, contact Marion Lovell on 01797 222615.
