A27 CRASH: Driver still in serious condition
A DRIVER who suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash near the Beddingham roundabout on Friday (February 8) is still in a serious condition.
Today (Monday) police said there had been no significant improvement in the health of the 45-year-old man from Stone Cross, Pevensey.
The accident happened at 11.50am when a Ford Mondeo collided with a Brighton and Hove City Council refuse truck.
The driver of the Mondeo was seriously injured and airlifted by Sussex Air Ambulance and taken to Kings College Hospital London.
