The A21 is closed blocked after a tree fell onto a car near Sedlescombe this afternoon (Monday, February 8).
The road is closed between the A28 junction and Paygate Road.
An eye-witness Frank Copper said the tree fell onto a woman’s car as she was driving.
He said she was unhurt but a little shaken.
There have also been a number of other trees falling onto the A21 which is causing the road’s reopening to be delayed even further.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service attended.
