It’s a rather unorthodox way of marking a historical milestone - but it is certainly a lot of fun.
A group of artists have spent the last few days creating a giant castle to mark the 950th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings - made entirely out of balloons.
The project, led by Battle-based balloon artist Olivia Post, took several days to complete and includes a balloon Bayeux Tapestry and even a balloon King Harold with an arrow through his eye.
After being turned down for funding from the Arts Council, Olivia launched an online crowdfunding campaign in a bid to raise the £3,000 needed to get the project off the ground.
The sculpture will be open for viewing at Battle and Langton School until Sunday (October 16).
