Tributes to the Fab Four

The now famous Hastings Beatles Day is coming to the White Rock Theatre this Sunday and hundreds of musicians have been gearing up for the event .

Classic Beatles hits will be played in a range of genres from jazz to heavy metal, during more than 10 hours of live music over two stages.

All proceeds will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Since it began in 2000, Beatles Day has raised more than £118,000 to help people living with cancer in Sussex.

Last year alone the event raised £18,000 for the charity.

All the musicians involved are donating their time and talents for free.

Doors open at 11.30am and tickets are £10 (£5 children under 14).

A family ticket is £25 (two adults and up to three children 14 and under).
