Show inspired by ex-rocker’s book

Expect a ‘culture clash’ of music, words, and images from the show promoting ex-rocker Clive Parker-Sharp’s latest book, The Box.

Sex Drugs and Music-Hall is coming to Bexhill Museum on February 26, March 6 and 13, and to Hastings Museum on March 8, 15 and 22.

Ex-rock musician and writer Clive Parker-Sharp played with ‘80s rock bands Big Country, and Spizzenergi, and the live events are to be performed by Clive and another actor.

The music featured is a ’mash-up’ of eras, sing-a-long techno music-hall, and acoustic soul and rock.

Having made its debut at the Blackshed Art Gallery in Robertsbridge for the book launch last year, the show has been expanded.

Clive said: “The show was a winner, we’ve decided to expand it, and take it out on the road.”

There will be Q&A sessions with Clive and book signings.
