The play that launched a thousand reductions

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare by The Reduced Shakespeare Company is coming to the White Rock Theatre, Hastings on June 7.

The longest running comedy in London’s West End, featuring 37 Plays in 97 minutes is now revised for 2013 with the same recycled jokes - just put in a different order.

An irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard’s plays, the madcap men in tights weave their wicked way through all of Shakespeare’s comedies, histories and tragedies in one wild ride that promises to leave the audience breathless and helpless with laughter.

The show comes with a warning: not recommended for people with heart ailments, bladder problems, inner-ear disorders, outer-ear disorders, Shakespearean scholars, degrees in Elizabethan history and/or people inclined to motion sickness. The RSC cannot be held responsible for expectant mothers!
