During lockdown weddings should only take place in COVID-19 secure venues or in public outdoor spaces. The government is asking for people to only hold a wedding or civil partnership in exceptional circumstances and those that do must only take place with up to 6 people. Anyone working is not included. But for when we are no longer in lockdown, you can look ahead at 2022 and 2023.
Here are some Sussex venues to say I do in.
9. De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-On-Sea
Wedding ceremonies take place in the De La Warr Pavilion’s 1930s auditorium, which is transformed into a beautifully lit and intimate space for a truly magical ceremony.
10. Herstmonceux Castle, Hailsham
The castle has a range of beautiful rooms to choose from, period gardens, enclosed court yard, on-site accommodation and catering.
11. Royal Pavilion, Brighton

12. Pelham House, Lewes
The 16th century townhouse has been transformed into a luxurious wedding venue.
