An Easter panto? Oh yes it is!

Blue Peter legend Peter Duncan, CITV’s Jenny Jones and Superstar finalist Jon Moses are to star in Rapunzel, the Easter pantomime coming to the White Rock Theatre, Hastings, on March 27.

The show’s producer Jezz Weatherall, from Enchanted Entertainment, said: “We’re really looking forward to coming to The White Rock Theatre to preview our Easter family pantomime ‘Rapunzel’.

“It’s got a great cast of TV stars and an amazing live band. We know how popular the Christmas pantomime is and we’re planning to give people in the area another quality family event during the year.”

The cast features a host of top quality professional performers including: Jenny Jones from CITV’s Hi-5 as Rapunzel, Jon Moses from Andrew Lloyd-Webber and ITV’s Superstar as Prince, Kay Purcell, Gina from CBBC’s Tracy Beaker Returns as Gothel the Enchantress, Peter Duncan of Blue Peter fame as Muddles, as well as Andrew Crawford and Joe Chambers from The Rhyme Rocket as Joey and Jape the Jesters.

Director Guy Pascall said: “It’s going to be great fun and a real treat for all the family. Ever since Disney released the wonderful animated film Tangled in 2010, we’ve been asked by so many people to bring a ‘live’ version of the Rapunzel story to the stage.”
