Expandis was originally a three-piece band, but is now back as a duo with new music and a fresh take on the back catalogue, although keeping the unique approach to live performance.

Inspiration comes from punk / new wave / experimental bands such as the New York innovators Suicide and the more mainstream Talking Heads, as well as Kraftwerk, D.A.F. and Yellow Magic Orchestra.

The project first came together in 1980, and at one point Expandis signed up with Rocket Records (Elton John’s label) to have a stab at commercial success.

The event at the Carlisle, in Pelham Street will be in the downstairs bar from 5pm.
