Auditions for winterpantomime

Auditions for this year’s pantomime at the White Rock Theatre, Dick Whittington, will be held on Saturday, May 11 from 10.30am.

Talented dancers, both girls and boys, are wanted to join the company as part of the Juvenile Dance Chorus.

Successful candidates will get the opportunity to work with a professional director, choreographer and cast.

Older girls will have the opportunity to partner third year students from Laine Theatre Arts.

Auditions will take place at the theatre and are open to those aged between 12 and 19 years on December 1, 2013 and who have excellent dance ability and outstanding stage presence.

Singing and drama experience is desirable but not essential.

As well as dancers, boys, aged from nine to 15 on December 1, 2013, with exceptional stage presence, good dance and acting skills are wanted to play The Rats.

Singing experience is useful but not absolutely essential.

Dance auditions will run from 10.30am to 3pm.

Rats will be auditioned from 3pm to 5.30pm.
