Walk via SDW, Seven Sisters, Crowlink, East Dean (L), Friston Forest, New Barn, Exceat.

Notes: There is a charge for parking at the Exceat Centre and also the Seven Sisters Country Park. You should allow £5 - will probably be less.

Saturday December 3: Meet at 2pm at Whiteways roundabout car park (A29/B2139/A284, TQ 001108). Hilly circular walk to Houghton along parts of South Downs Way, Monarch’s Way and River Arun providing superb views of Arundel Park and the Arun Valley. Free, just turn-up. Well-behaved dogs welcome. 4 ½ miles.

Sunday, December 4 Meet at 10am in Kithurst Hill car park (TQ 070125).Circular walk into the heart of the South Downs, The Burgh, magnificent views of Arundel, returning along the South Downs Way. Free, just turn-up. Well behaved dogs welcome. 4 ½ miles.

Monday, December 5, 10am: Henfield – Albourne. Free, park and meet at Henfield Cricket Ground off the A281 (TQ 223156) for a 6 mile circular walk to Albourne green, good views, back through Woodmancote Place Deer Park. No dogs.

Tuesday, December 6: Meet at 10am in Countryman Inn car park, Shipley (TQ135214). Flat circular walk through Knepp Park, past King’s Windmill and Knepp Castle. Hope to see Tamworth Pigs, Fallow Deer, Exmoor Ponies and Old English Long-horn Cattle. Free, just turn-up. No dogs. 5 ½ miles.

Wednesday, December 7: Meet at the Sussex Oak car park, Warnham (TQ 158337) at 10.00 am. 6 ½ mile, fairly flat, figure of eight walk towards Rowhook. Free, just turn-up. No dogs.

Wednesday, December 7: Meet at 10.30 am at the Bax Castle, Two Mile Ash Road, TQ 147272 (near Christ’s Hospital School). Circular walk, some stiles and modest climbs, over farmland and through woods. Free, just turn-up. No dogs. 4 miles.

Thursday, December 8: Meet at 10am at Sports Pavilion, Jubilee Fields, Billingshurst. Various circular walks over farmland along the River Arun and Wey Canal. Free, just turn-up. No dogs. 4 to 6 miles.
