The latest number of Covid-19 cases in Hastings and Rother

The number of Covid-19 cases in Hastings and Rother has risen slightly, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

The data, released on Monday (October 5), showed a total of 234 cases in Hastings and 253 in Rother.

In the past 48 hours, there have been 18 more confirmed cases in Hastings, while in Rother, the number of confirmed cases rose by 13.

Across East Sussex, 2,096 people have now tested positive for Covid-19 – up by 105 since Saturday, according to Public Health England.

Eastbourne saw another 22 cases in that 48-hour period, rising to a total of 563, while Lewes recorded another 15 cases, bringing the total there to 449.

In Wealden, 37 people were confirmed to have tested positive in the past 48 hours, taking the total to 597 cases.

In West Sussex, 3,693 people have tested positive for the virus, with a further 1,198 cases in Brighton and Hove.

A total of 9,583 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Kent.

There have been 515,571 cases of Covid-19 across the nation, with 12,594 people testing positive in the past 24 hours.
