Where people living in Hastings, Bexhill, Rye and Battle will get their Covid-19 vaccine

Here are where the local vaccination services are currently available in your area:

Hastings:

The Hastings Centre, at Kings Church, on the Ridge for patients at: Sedlescombe House; Harold Road Surgery; Beaconsfield Road Surgery; Carisbrooke Surgery; Churchwood Medical Practice; Hastings Old Town Surgery; High Glades Medical Centre; Priory Road Surgery; South Saxon House Surgery; The Station Practice; and Warrior Square Surgery.

As of Friday evening, 3,486 vaccines had been administered at the Hastings Centre

Bexhill:

Sidley Medical Practice for patients at: Collington Surgery; Little Common Surgery; Pebsham Surgery; and Sidley Medical Practice.

Dr Binodh Bhaskaran, the clinical director of Bexhill Primary Care Network, said Bexhill is ‘on track’ to vaccinate the roughly 15,000 who are in the 70 and over, clinically extremely vulnerable, health and social care workers, care home residents and housebound categories. These top four categories should receive their first vaccine by February 15.

From Burwash to Rye, including Battle:

Etchingham Village Hall for patients at: Fairfield Surgery, Burwash; Ferry Road Health Centre, Rye; Martins Oak Surgery, Battle; Northiam and Broad Oak Surgery; Oldwood Surgery, Robertsbridge /Battle Health Centre; Rye Medical Centre; Sedlescombe and Westfield Surgeries.

Etchingham Village Hall started administering vaccines on Wednesday (January 20).

Hospital hubs are also currently vaccinating health and care staff. Conquest Hospital is a hospital hub for Covid-19 vaccines, as is Eastbourne District General Hospital.

Vaccination groups:

– residents in a care home for older adults and their carers

– all those 80 years of age and over and frontline health and social care workers

– all those 75 years of age and over

– all those 70 years of age and over and clinically extremely vulnerable individuals

– all those 65 years of age and over

– all individuals aged 16 years to 64 years with underlying health conditions which put them at higher risk of serious disease and mortality

– all those 60 years of age and over

– all those 55 years of age and over

– all those 50 years of age and over
