School's IT suite opened thanks to £30k cheque

The Vale School Summer Fair took place on July 8 at the school in Vale Avenue, Findon Valley, making £6,500.

During the fair, the Friends of the Vale School presented a cheque for £30,000 to headmaster Martin Garrett to fund the new IT suite in the school.

A spokesman from the group said: “This fantastic sum has been generated by various fundraising events over the last two years, such as discos, bake sales, raffles, quiz nights and more.

“The suite was officially opened by Dave Adams from More Radio. Parents were invited along to see the children at work.”
