Currently let at £27,600 per annum, the two leasehold shops fetched £175,000.

Neither business – Battle House of Cards or Conquest – which currently operate out of these units have been affected by the auction.

Sam Kinloch, a Clive Emson director and senior auction appraiser, said: “Both commercial units, which are currently let, are considered ideal for continued investment, hence the bidding interest.”

Clive Emson’s next online auction closes on Wednesday, September 23. Lot entries close on Tuesday, September 1, with the online catalogue available on Monday, September 7.
