Both Tamsyn and Mark joined the practice as trainees, completed their qualification as Chartered Certified Accountants and, prior to becoming partners, were associates in the business.

Tamsyn runs a section in the firm’s Bexhill office and has a varied client portfolio. She says “Life is usually hectic with my one year old daughter, Isabelle, and a second baby due later in the year. I am looking forward to the challenges ahead and enjoy balancing my work with my family life.”

Mark also has a young family who keep him on his toes. He is based in the Hastings office in a role suited to his outgoing personality, encompassing both client work and sales and marketing. Mark says “I joined Ashdown Hurrey from university and am pleased that the firm’s policy of trying to work to people’s strengths means that as well as working with my clients, I also get to meet new people in my marketing role”.

Managing partner, Patrick Lee, says “I am pleased that Tamsyn and Mark have been promoted to the partnership role, as this rewards their hard work and dedication.
