“The idea blossomed after we contacted a stunning wedding venue along with other wedding specialists who have bonded together to launch the competition to find a winner.”

The winners will be gifted their entire wedding worth over £30,000.00 which will be held at Cottesmore Hotel Golf and Country Club, Pease Pottage with the lucky winners being gifted everything from the catering and wine, the dress, suits, cake, flowers, photographer all the way to a magician and an evening firework display.

Natalie added: “It really is going to be a day to remember. We are so excited and thrilled to be able to give something back to someone who really deserves it.”

Entry is free and people can only enter via the website www.sussexnhsweddingcompetition.co.uk or be nominated by colleagues or family and friends.

The competition opened on June 1 2020 and closes on July 31, 2020 and once the shortlisting has taken place the semi-finalists will be entered into a random draw with the winner being announced on BBC Radio Sussex.

Natalie said: “In order to qualify to enter our amazing competition entrants or nominees must be working in any job role for any Sussex NHS Trust, work in a care home, in the community or for a charity i.e. hospice. They must work and live in Sussex or within a 30 mile radius.

“We just wanted to say a big thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the efforts made and to show our appreciation the best way we know how.
