Video taken by Sam Gruet on Twitter yesterday afternoon (June 6) showed gridlocked traffic queueing to get into the McDonalds drive-thru in The Drove Retail Park in McKinley Way.
He said he was told by a steward that there were waiting times of more than 45 minutes so he turned back around.
McDonalds reopened many branches across the country last week for drive-thru orders following the easing of lockdown measures.
