Welcome in autumn at Rye’s cabaret night special

Bid adieu to Summer and say Hi! to Autumn as Rye’s own glamorous bearded drag Lady Timberlina hosts an evening of sublime, absurdly rich entertainment with some best loved local artists and regional talent.

It’s happening tomorrow, Saturday September 26, from 7.30pm at Lam House Marquee in West Street, Rye.

Live artist Cath Hoffmann presents a captivating live operetta, part of her show Glory Days which she is currently touring, and singer/song writer Anita Jardine brings her witty songs over from Hastings. Kim Thompsett provides her heartfelt alt-folk songs from Rye, and Bristol artist Tom Marshman reflects on package holidays with an excerpt from his show ‘A Place in the Sun,’ while London-based Nathan Evans revives his extraordinary and irreverent Punch & Jude, which is Punch and Judy for grown ups. Doors open at 7pm while the show starts at 7.30pm. There will be a cash bar in site but please note there is no public convenience. Tickets are £10, available from Grammar School Records or on the door
