Vienna Festival Ballet’s Cinderella
The Vienna Festival Ballet makes a welcome return to the White Rock Theatre on April 30 with the rags to riches fairy-tale Cinderella.
This magical full-length version of the ballet has all the familiar ingredients. A downtrodden young girl, a glass slipper, two ugly step-sisters and a handsome prince combine to make the perfect piece of story-telling. A specially commissioned score with music from some of Rossini’s most famous operas adds to the magical fantasy world of the ballet Cinderella.
