Mrs Yarrington is spoiling us with a gig by award-winning folk act Ewan McLennon at the Senlac Inn in Battle on May 10 at 8pm.
You may have seen Ewan perform on BBC’s Transatlantic Sessions with the finest musicians from around the world. Ewan McLennan first emerged onto the UK folk scene with the release of his debut album Rags & Robes. The recording featured in MOJO’s top ten folk albums of 2010. After appearing on the BBC Radio 2 Folk Show and performing in the Celtic Connections Festival his debut was capped by winning the BBC Folk Award’s Horizon Award in 2011.
