Theatre on lookout for talented dancers

The White Rock Theatre is looking for outstandingly talented dancers, both girls and boys, to join the company as part of the Juvenile Dance Chorus in this year’s pantomime, Aladdin, starring Louie Spence.

Successful candidates will get the opportunity to work with a professional director, choreographer and cast and the older girls will have the opportunity to partner third year students from Laine Theatre Arts.

Girls/ boys, aged 12-19 years on December 1, 2014, must have excellent dance ability with outstanding stage presence. Singing and drama experience is desirable but not essential.

The theatre is also looking for talented boys, aged from nine to 15 on December 1, 2014, with exceptional stage presence, good dance and acting skills to play Abanazar’s Minions. Singing experience is useful but not absolutely essential.
