When the laughs are off the graphs

The Festival of the Spoken Nerd is at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill on Wednesday October 14 from 8pm. If you rate graphs just as high as laughs, this particular sparkling nerd fest might be the very thing.

Join acclaimed stand-up mathematician Matt Parker, experiments maestro Steve ‘Danger’ Mould and geek songstress Helen Arney for graph-a-minute fun on an unprecedented linear scale.

Last year’s smash hit ‘Full Frontal Nerdity’ was “great, funny, clever,” according to The Scotsman’s review. Meanwhile the New Scientist claimed the show “harnesses comedy to highlight what is fun - and funny - about science.”

The Nerds have appeared across television and radio, and in their own DVD recorded at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre.

As well as sell-out shows all over the UK, the Nerds have performed at Shakespeare’s Globe, Hammersmith Apollo with Robin Ince and Brian Cox, The British Library, TED, Udderbelly and Latitude Festival
