This classic treasure with music by Tchaikovsky will be performed on Sunday November 29 at 7.30pm. The Russian State Ballet and Opera House is a prestigious company currently on tour and this presentation features an impressive cast and accompanied by a large live orchestra with over 30 musicians. The company is a gem of the Russian cultural tradition, bringing as they do the passion and vibrancy of the Russian character to their performances.

The Nutcracker became one of Tchaikovsky’s most famous compositions, and one of the most popular ballets in the world. It is an enchanting feast for the eyes. The Russian State Ballet and Opera House is renowned across Europe for their faithful, intimate and powerful performances. They have been featured regularly in local and national media, including an appearance on BBC Television’s The One Show.
