Jessie was joined in the grounds of Bannantyne’s hotel by cast members Daisy Steere and Ben McMillan who play Cinderella and Prince Charming. Adding extra magic was the arrival of two white horses pulling a spectacular carriage, complete with coachmen supplied by Drayhorse Shires, Kent. Also in attendance were the Mayor of Hastings; Councillor Bruce Dowling and pantomime sponsors Shades Tiles R Us.

For the past 15 years Jessie has become a national treasure thanks to her performance as Kat Slater in EastEnders, winning numerous awards and legions of fans. Jessie’s other television credits include ITV’s The Bill and Wild at Heart and her critically acclaimed leading role in Miss Marie Lloyd - Queen Of the Music Hall. In 2008 she also took part in Strictly Come Dancing.
