Mark Thomas and Hastings charity
Award-winning comedian Mark Thomas is to perform his latest show Trespass at St Mary in the Castle to raise funds for Hastings Furniture Service (HFS).
Mark, who is patron of the charity, has won awards for his comedy and his campaigning work, including the Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award. He has just returned from a run of shows in New York.
Naomi from HFS said: “We are thrilled to have a great patron who is really committed to our charity. The last event, at De La Warr Pavilion, was amazingly successful. People had a great night out and we raised enough funding to run our DIY and craft sessions at women’s refuges for a year.”
Punk poet Attila the Stockbroker will also perform at the event on December 14. Tickets are £15 (concessions £10) from Tourist Information or online via hfs.org.uk.
