Hastings - Danny, The Champion of the World

The Stables Theatre. December 19 to 29.

Danny (Alfie Saunters) lives on the edge of the woods with his Dad (Matt Davis) in an old gypsy caravan. Nasty landowner Victor Hazell (Mike Stoneham) has organised a pheasant shoot - and Danny’s Dad thinks this is simply wrong: they set out to disrupt Hazell’s plan with hilarious results.

A doll, an Emotibot (a robot with a lever to change his emotions) and a superhero fall out of Father Christmas’s sleigh and land in Eastbourne. Written by Eastbourne resident and local mum of three, Kali Peacock and with live music and original songs by Tony award-winning composer, Sarah Travis, this new musical is guaranteed to bring happiness, joy and laughter to both children and adults alike.
