Children of Eden will be performed at Bexhill High

Children of Eden will be performed by Bexhill High Theatre Company from April 23 and 25 in the theatre nightly from 7.30pm.

This is the latest show directed by Adam Hepkin to be staged at The Venue within the academy, and past productions have earned rave acclaims from the Bexhill community.

Bexhill High and Adam have devised a strategy to ensure that the quality of shows has increased over the past two years, while at the same time ensuring as many young people are involved in the productions.

Written by Stephen Schwartz (composer of Wicked, Godspell and Pippin) and freely based on the story of Genesis, Children of Eden is a frank, heartfelt and often humorous examination of the age-old conflict between parents and children. Adam, Eve, Noah and the “Father” who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children.

The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet but inspiring message.

Adam said: “Please support the hard work of the students involved by coming along to one of the performances. Tickets can be obtained from Tracey Holden at the Academy at £8 for adults and £6 for concessions.”
