The venue holds quiz nights, comedy events with a range of turns, and ‘introducting original artists’ on Thursday evenings with acts such as Owen Donovan & The Mocking Birds and Zarbo.

Organiser Andy Rimmer said: “Largely because our live music events have been embraced, supported and encouraged by the local community we have been able to introduce more and more live acts. The majority of artists who perform, or hang their art, live in Bexhill, where it seems there’s no end to the talented people who live in the area; it is fantastic seeing a local economy working well and everyone benefiting. Performers love a full house and interactive audience, and customers directly benefit.

This weekend we are holding a two day music festival to celebrate our sixth anniversary and give something back to our loyal supporters.

On Saturday there is an open mic session where people can showcase their talents, followed by a variety of differing acts. The day will finish with local heroes Rick and Bob with their 60’s 70’s soul and motown hits, fittingly they were the first to perform here all those years ago.

On the Sunday we have a some folk, blues, rock, soul, 50’s, 60’s 70’s and original folky rocky pop. So there should be something for everyone! We will be collecting donations for The Bexhill Lions over the weekend who do so much good work for so many local good causes.”
