Final set of monthly readings

Reality Street Live announces the final event of its monthly series of readings, talks and performances at the Electric Palace cinema in Hastings Old Town on Wednesday (April 23).

The evening will feature best-selling Reality Street poet Denise Riley, in a rare appearance reading her poetry; and Richard Makin, writer, poet and artist based in St Leonards, whose book Dwelling was published by Reality Street in 2011, and who will be performing his texts in collaboration with visual artist Miranda Gavin.

The series has featured authors associated with Reality Street, the enterprising publisher of innovative poetry and prose based in Hastings since 2004, together with guest writers, musicians and artists.
